I've kept off the 22 pounds I lost at the end of last year. I'll start on the next 20 soon.

I once threw a Hyundai sedan all the way from California into Rapaire's plate-glass living room window.

Ah, Jacqui, that's adorable. Good for your grandson!

My grandson is a fan of Futurama. Not sure if that's good or not, but he did quote "Bender" the smart-alek robot from same and told me, yesterday, "Man, you need to slow down and r-e-l-a-x!" It worked, I did!

I landed a very important, to me, volunteer editing gig, yesterday, too. It is very gratifying in that I will be giving back to an org. from which I have learned the basis of my adult life.

The wild terrified starving kitty I made friends with and fed this past fall is now a big plump snuggle-demanding fluffy furniture ornament.

Congratulations to your daughter Ivor!

I've got quite a few years before my son decides if he is going to uni or not but he is learning to walk, nearly 9 months old and he managed 2 steps on his own yesterday before falling over and crawling to his destination!!

I got in to work today with a lovely glow, knowing that yesterday I spent the whole working day pushing other people's furniture around and that my new desk is in the sun.

Then I found someone had stolen my bin.

But best of all, Limpit came home from France on Monday, covered in laurels and brandishing a certificate that states she was the best at scaring other children, in the highest pitched, scariest voice...

My job here is done.

The youngest grandson, on seeing a (UK) M@No Right Turn sign, said 'No boomerangs allowed down there'.

LOL...that great, Bryn. I love the way their minds work, so logical sometimes, to them.

I landed another part-time paying job as a copy editor. This one is really exciting!

Catherine Jayne
If your son fell over and crawled to his destination, it seems to me he is already well qualified for university. My daughter still does that and she's 41!

LOL addie1.

And well done, grandson. They can have a way of crawling fast that can be a life-long memory. The 9-month-olds, I mean.
