Best/worst job list....fly fishing (hey! it's all a matter of preference, phoaks!)

In the year 2000...can we lighten up a little?

BIG MUDDY ALERT....Dirty old town

This is addictive and part of the greater Mudcat plot to inject with us "Catcaine", that impossible to kick habit; it comes through the microwave emanations of our monitor screens....there is no protection from it; face it, we are all hooked.....as in fly fishing. Well, the 'Cat caught its flies, didn't it? Now we shall all buzz around in here, caught like Jeff Goldblum in (drumroll) "The Fly", constantly needing our fix! Somebody warn Catspaw!***BG***

Gargoyle, good to hear from you. I haven't been on all that much lately, myself. I hope the era of good feelings continues, but I could do without all that gushy crap.

"Why are you talking like that?"
"I thought you wanted to talk like that."

Can you come up with the lines that precede or follow that bit of dialogue? --seed

It's odd how thigs strike the fancy at 5:30 in the AM, 'course being a full moon may have something to do with it as well. I couldn't help but chuckle and think how Catspaw would get a laugh also out of the combination of thread names that read:
Single Lonely Mudcatters
Can We Lighten Up A Little?
About Catspaw - Please Read
John Hartfords "Tall Buildings".

Found in that order!....'Spaw, we miss you so, PLEASE come back soon!!

The thread that won't die: I've killed many a thread in my day, and since I started this one, I suppose it's up to me to give it its coup-de-gras (everyone, please note in the above sentence the correct use of the apostrophe in connection with it + s (it's is the contraction of it is; its is the possessive pronoun: NO APOSTROPHE, phoaks).

Here are a few I found tonight:

keep on truckin mama/song for my Mom

Vote for the best Love song ever/REQ: Waggle O' the Kilt?/'Long time ago'/New name, same old Jack

This is not really a play on thread names but more on thread name/number. Has it occured to anyone that the "How Old Is A Mudcatter?" thread, with the number of posts in the next column, would currently read, (to the uninitiated) "How Old Is A Mudcatter? 191" There are some days I feel like it, too!
