The new star of Hawaii Five O reloaded!

He appears to have adopted the stage name "Jack Lord" in order to give the show as much continuity as possible. I'm predicting a major hit for this one.

Actually, I dn't care one way or the other. Chinga, though, was delighted at the news as she was looking for a new cabaret act for the front business in her Milwaukee house of ill-repute. I told her she wasn't fooling anybody, but she says that's nt the point. You make the effort so the fuzz will see you're playing the game and not making trouble for anyone.
Get along, go along. Corridus would wear a cowboy hat and gallop along a giant exercise wheel hung from the ceiling while girls in bikinis throw vegetables at him....

I head that Shatner has been booked to play the Hawaii Five-O role Corridus initiated on Broadway, tho, in the TV version. Buzz is that a net survey showed so many Mudcat hits (many more than Corridus') that it was concluded that Shatner had a HUGE potential market share, so...... they plugged him in. Corridus will get to do personal appearances in costume, only.

In the end, Danno booked Bill.

I think that Shatner could lend much authority to the cast of the new show, but in the role of an "elder statesman", so to speak, who provides legal expertise (much like his "Denny Crane" character) while Corridus handles the action. Corridus will still be the "leading man", but Shatner will play a key part nonetheless.
