Subject: BS: More Nanny government From: Shanghaiceltic Date: 18 May 04 - 07:04 PM So now the Govt is looking at introducing a 'Children's Food Bill' to cut obesity. Surely the lead should come from the parents/guardians when feeding their children/wards. I cannot see how government regulation will help except as a feel good factor by those that write it. Taken to its next possible step they might propose a law bill that requires all parents/guardians only to feed their children healthy food or go to jail ;-) |

Subject: RE: BS: More Nanny government From: Dave the Gnome Date: 19 May 04 - 06:15 AM I'd vote for a bill that required all parents/guardians to feed their children healthy attitudes or go to jail! It would make a very pleasant change to walk round Tesco without hearing Brit'ny ger over ere yer likkle bleedor or al ba'er yer :-) Cheers DtG |
