Subject: The Gnome is Back:-) From: Dave the Gnome Date: 09 Oct 08 - 01:01 PM After an absence of some while - Following a break from the Mudcat and a Gno more Gnome message - the Gnome is back. I decided that the Gnome pseudonym had had it's day and became plain old Dave Polshaw. But one of the Gnome Daughters pointed me in the direction of David the Gnome or, in his native Spanish, David el Gnomo. So, here I am. Always remember that, in mythology, the Gnome is keeper of a secret treasure. If you ever wonder why I am so smug and gnod gnowingly while you wallow in your ignorance then just remember the treasure. It is mine. You will never find it. Hehehehehehehehehe DtG |

Subject: RE: The Gnome is Back:-) From: Les in Chorlton Date: 09 Oct 08 - 01:15 PM I suppose you could be known as DeG or Degsy to your familiars? As for your secret treasure can we have some guesses? Is it in any way related to those pills, potions and offers of "personal enhancement" that appear as Spam almost by the hour? |

Subject: RE: The Gnome is Back:-) From: John Hardly Date: 10 Oct 08 - 06:04 PM With draft beer and a smile, Ned Pearsall raised a toast to his deceased neighbor, Henry Friddle, whose death greatly pleased him. Henry had been killed by a garden gnome. He had fallen off the roof of his two-story house, onto that cheerful-looking figure. The gnome was made of concrete. Henry wasn't. A broken neck, a cracked skull: Henry perished on impact. This death-by-gnome had occurred four years previously. Ned Pearsall still toasted Henry's passing at least once a week. -Dean Koontz |
