I'm pretty sure that "Short-haired Police Cadet..." was written by Jimmy Blackburn, who once gave me the chance to do something I had been dying to do since I was a boy. Unfortunately it was almost certainly illegal, hence no details.

"Glasgow" by Billy Connolly has been a favorite since the moment I first heard it. The great love of a time and a place expressed here goes beyond sentimentally. If I never learned first hand who wrote it I could have been convinced it was written by Ewan MacColl.
