Andrew Gilligan did an expose of Roberta and other BNP London Assembly candidates in the Evening Standard (itself pretty well part of the lunatic right) http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-mayor/article-23478458-details/BNP+picks+psychic+and+a+gay+porn+director+as+candidates/ar

Pete, you said Karen and Dal refused to have FaF banners. As far as I know *they* did not.

Richard, I'm not sure why you're being this with way PlC. Growler runs the GI sessions, you asked him for a banner, he said "This is folk without politics", and you really rather meekly acquiesced. So Pete has a fair question when he asks you why you have such a different view towards Simon's GI than you do towards a constitutionally anti-racist group like Folkmob. I sugges you do it in Private Mail, this thread is already off-topic enough and is not a discussion about BNP candidates or policies.

Once and for all, Folkmob is constitutionally inclusive and prohibitive of racist or offensive behaviours. No banners, no lectures no sermons in music sessions. People are free to decorate tents, guitars, caravans, t-shirts, tits or arses in whatever tokens of allegiance they choose. Now, aren't we all agreed on that?

JB, please take a deep breath and read through this thread again. As a friend, whether you realise it or not, I think you need to take time out. If you can act this way with someone like PlC, one of the most decent blokes you'll ever meet, then people are right to be quite worried about what mayhem you could cause with others over this issue.

It seems, I stress *seems* that you're so fired up over this issue that you're likely to descend upon this small, private (NOT A COMMERCIAL FESTIVAL) gathering in a field like some avenging angel of liberal fury, and that would be entirely inappropriate.

If this is not the right impression then I would be relived to hear you correct me and give others some reassurance. Many thanks.

Lovely dysfunctional family stuff going on here.

This whole thread has devolved due to cross threading and some serious misunderstandings. I want you boys to shake hands and make up or I will have to become the "MAMMA" and believe me nobody wants me to do that.

If I make it (still considering the wisdom of attending) I will be there with decorated tits. But I won't be making any kind of statement other than a silly reference to giant flourescent breasted women.

Royston, I am not "being this way" with Pete. I have said above that since those with (apparently) the right to decide have ruled out a FaF banner on the Knockholt gate or in the Knockholt marquee (something I find rather in the Chamberlain mould) there is a middle ground in that they have not said that we may not wear FaF t-shirts or display FaF banners or logos.

Likewise I have not sought to overturn Simon's bar on a FaF banner at the GI, and although caravans do not happen there, there is no ban AFAIK on wearing a FaF t-shirt there.

What Pete said about the GI was incorrect.

Dear Tam, and any other distressed parties, I think for the purposes of peace it's absolutely essential that I clarify that the image of "decorated tits" I posted was not in any way intended to undermine the value or worth of "giant flourescent breasts."

My link merely led to a pair of "very colourful" giant tits, I hope my comment hasn't offended anyone wishing to express themselves with "giant flourescent breasts". And I wish to make it clear, that I respect the rights of all giant breasts to be flourescent.

Will except your telling off,s when I get there and a good spanking if necessary and you enjoy it, Did anyone notice I was one of the only ones Sam Hudson did not increase the size of my tits I wonder why? Actually, Dilligaf, it was not you who said that (or if it was you were not the only person who said that) - the primary culprit, who was being genuinely offensive when he said it, was much more closely linked to the BNP.

As Ginger chicken is not coming, I hope Blackie will, as I have already bought the ginger.

Hello every one
Clearly I have over reacted to this issue and to the postings, some of which that are some what confusing.

This is common to discussion forums in regards to misinterpretations of what is written and what the person behind the post is trying to say.

Indeed I am very defensive when it comes to Knockholt and will defend it against outside intrusion.
I feel much more reassured now that everything will be alright this September and I do feel some what SHEEPISH about the Choas I have caused.

I did it for the reasons above and for the terrific people that attend and that I have got to know, trust and befriended over the last 10 years.
My appetite has returned and so has my looking forward to playing and having fun at this great little the event.
Peace and kind regards to everyone Pierre.

I will be there first thing next Wednesday Morn.with cooking stuff and all.

We love you PlC. A little chaos is a good thing.

Melodeonboy your shirts remind me of the hallucinations those "don't do drugs" films they showed me in school. Stuff of nightmares.

Now to clarify the giant fluorescent breasted women reference.

I did not mean to say that I have giant florescent breasts. More that I am a woman (last time I checked the hormones were still on low simmer).   I am leaning towards giant size generally thanks to hormones and age and other things. And I have breasts which may or may not be giant depending upon perspective of the wearer (that's me) and the viewer (who ever dares). Some may think moderate in proportion to rest of me. I think gigantic in bloody nuisance of carrying them about and finding a place for them when I play guitar.

Now that's clear as mud, innit?

And speaking of mud, given the current weather forecast who is up for mud wrestling?

Oh dear, beer bellied bearded folkie men in thongs slithering about in the mud. My my sweet dreams for me tonight.

Crow Sister - yes I do Lord Franklyn, it's one of my favourite songs, and I did it along with my Bardettes and Richard at Ash (the mini folk festival on Monday). I'll do it at Knockholt for you.

I'm getting worried as I don't want to end up with giant florescent breasts - - - they're big enough without advertising ;-0

PlC: "My appetite has returned and so has my looking forward to playing and having fun at this great little the event."

And I do hope your Polish lady friend and Son feel comfortable about attending too? It's horrible that there's been a tiff over misunderstandings, and I am myself sorry to have contributed unhelpful words towards it. Especially being a newcomer.

B of E, I'd *love* to hear Lord Franklin. One of the first ever 'folk' songs I recall hearing from a Pentangle album many, many moons ago..

And as to giant breasts - be they fluorescent (finally learned how to spell it) merely colourful or otherwise quite undecorated: "My bonny bosoms are big-enough-already, but a' growing..." Aren't mudpacks supposed to be beneficial to the firming and minimising of a ladies decolletage? Bring on the 'Knockers' rain...

Well it seems these famous Knockholt "Sausages" might be to blame for all the intrigue! According to a highly factual statements made by a newspaper known and revered for its big tits (as well as the page three models): "TELLY'S famous Fallen Madonna With The Big Boobies has been found [..] the painting by .. artist Van Clomp was fought over by the French wartime resistance and the Germans, with copies hidden in Knockwurst sausages."

Suspicious evidence of 'Knockers sausage' link to 'Big Boobies'

Go Placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there maybe in silence.
Has far has possible,without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly/,and listen to others,
even to the dull and the Ignorant, they to have there story.
Avoid loud and agressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons then yourself.
Enjoy your achievements has well your plans. keep interest in your own career, however humble, its a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. but let this not blind you to what virtue thyere is,
Many persons strive for high ideals,
everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself.
Especially,do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and
disenchantment it is perennial as the Grass.

Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracfully
surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyhond a wholesome discipline,be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less then the trees and the stars,
you have the right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

There fore be at peace with your God,Whatever you concieve him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of Life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham and drudery and broken dreams,
It is still a beautiful world.
Be Cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

That sounds a good idea.I cant get the link up but it would be extremely handy has I would not have to cart 3 bloody great joints with me on the journey to the field Wednesday morning.
Richard is bringing the lamb and I am/was getting the. Pork,Beef and Chicken meats from a friend.I have placed no order yet with him so it wont put him out.

It would make my journey to the field much more straight forward. The produce would not be frozen it would be fresh, no Rigmarole about defrosting we can marinate has soon has we are back on site it would be easy to cut or cube or slice and it can go in Richards cool box over night. Fantastic. Indeed i was having second thought Re my mate.
I was going to walk to Green St Green Wednesday morn solely for the above reasons.
There is mind a outstanding problem that remains a issue.

I can walk to Green street Green Cross country and main road.
I cannot walk the 15 miles to Sevenoaks
A wonderful Idea.
