I am minded to make a stand and attend - and even mainly stay. If so I will take care that any possessions (defensive or otherwise) are lawful. But who knows what may change.

Richard, does this mean you may NOT attend?

I need a head count. Haven't heard at all from Kev the Clogs, Essex Girl, Woodsie, Girl Friday and retinue (I am sure there are others).

Planning to buy and prep all this food. If people aren't showing or are leaving Saturday (when we arrive) then who am I feeding it to.?

I was very undecided. I am now fairly decided, Captain Indecisive, that's me.

My present plans are (a bit like "eats, shoots, and leaves") are to arrive Weds AM and plan and/or foodshop with Pete, go to a Davey Rumsey gig in Maidstone Weds eve, either come straight back or kip at home in which case return Thurs AM, cut up logs if necessary (never drink before using chainsaws or axes), relax Thurs eve, drink but not to excess in case of need to defend Fri, stay sober help cook and eat Sat and depart before Elton John's song comes true on Saturday Night.

But I may be less tense by then.

Last I heard of Gril Friday the bruising from her fall was coming out which prevented her getting to Faversham (too much walking anyway) and was feared to prevent her Knocking.

At Chaversham Essex Girl was (if I correctly recall) going to be coming, so to speak.

Due to lack of folk being there I am hiring two Mere-cats to man the post. More expense.

The only food I am bringing to knockholt is my personal grub I am not spending £s on food for people if they aint gonna show. Has far has foods concerned I will play it by Ear.
My son is not coming solely because of pint ball I mean paint ball.
And Polish bird is working Sunday morning. I am working Sunday night so I will get a Cab home Sunday morn.

Oh! I've bought the wine to marinade things, and it's not fit to drink on its own.

I've also bought red onyums, courgettes, carrots, aubergines, and garlic, and the harissa paste is yum. I shall bring it all (including the frozen leg of lamb) and then decide.

1)Its has been decided this year that instead of a circle we shall have a stockade. On the Saturday evening.
Please arrive early on the Saturday evening to avoid ,Barb Wire and Man Traps.

Have decided not to be worried about things that are out of my control.

If I am well enough, I will be there. Feeling quite dodgy today with sharp neck and jaw pain left side and general icky feeling that goes with palpitations. So I am a bit iffy. Might be the chinese take away from last night. Has happened before.

Really want to be there, because I have been looking forward to this since June.

Bought the potatoes, parsnips and carrots and will prep and parboil Friday night. They can then be finished in whatever way, people choose.
Also planning to bring 2 dozen devilled egg halves and banana loaf.

VT, I suspect (hope) you are only having a sodium-crisis and I hope you feel better in time for Knockers.

RB - as always I left it too late for the beer, which needs 5-7 days notice and has to be delivered to its final destination and then left to settle. Aside from being too late it seemed quite a "Parlava", General or otherwise. Regrettably the car must come with me on "Le Shuttle" early Sunday. My survival (and that of my driver's licence) requires my tactical withdrawal from the field of drinking sometime on Saturday!

PlC. I will bring all my "No! to this sort of thing" placards. What colour are the tin hats? I should like everything to be well cooordinated.

I will arrive Wednesday evening because I am sooooo pissed off with work that I am making a stand, in the form of a disappearance if that is possible, from the whole lot of 'em (until Sunday in Bruges).

It is technically a diad - a chord with only teh D and F# notes. Just play a D chord. If you want a "bigger" D chord try 500775

I could not find D3 in the limited chord sites the I.T. dept allow me to have at work. When I typed D3 into the chord finder at work nothing came up.

Eliza Carthy is performing at The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks next Wednesday night (the 16th Sept) - Tickets £16.50

A good friend of mine - Keith Stockman is promoting the concert. He is the guy that organises all of the music at my Aylesford Festival.

Anyway - he is giving me 20 tickets to possibly sell at Knockers if anyone is interested.

I stayed up until 2 am. I am paying for it now. Meal was splenderful.

Dilligaff - TSO and I really enjoyed the pasta carbonara.
Dipsodebs - I have not had decent tuna pasta dish since I left US, until yesterday. Thank you and special hugs, you know why.
Richard - stroke of brilliance to steam the veg we brought with PlC's herbs. Will remember, rosemary, tarragon and thyme.

Just to insure my credibility I would like to make it Plain,
I was not drinking Marinate at the meal Saturday night.
The Marinate I was drinking was uncooked. The Beef Swam in Richards cool box in 2 bottles of Red Wine all afternoon Saturday while I was down the Tally Ho learning how to
" DANCE DIXIE.
The wine I drank was full Alcohol volume with herbs and spices and meat juices and it tasted lovely. I will fill a few bottles for The Wassail ,Its called mulled Wine.

We could get the flame retardant blankies used by fire service, to appease the Health and Safety gods.

Sorry to Mick and Sue, as we offered to take away a small bag of rubbish, but only 2 big ones were left. We had no bags to carry a few away in and no room in our little car for the big bags. We ended up only carrying our own rubbish and recyclables away.

On list for next time, bring extra bags for carrying recyclables home.
