Someone ate the antisemetic poison.
The Jewish people are as guilty of genocide as much as all Americans are guilty of Trump's genocide.

Again, Stilly made an important point.

I would love to bring a class action suit against Trump for negligence.
It would be like fighting fire with fire.

I'm afraid the Supreme Court has made this impossible but maybe not.
Being sued by 75% of America could rake back some of the theft he has gotten away with.

Continues to be deluded and vying to get elected for a 3rd term as recompense for losing election 2020

Are there no bounds to his mental state

He is barred from standing 3rd term and he is as bad as Iran thrashing out in all directions

US why are you not putting him in a strait jacket called Hormuz?

Like Moses, TACO Trump will part the waters of the Red Sea with his ultimatum to destroy power centers that could include Kharg Island, which would end Iranian oil for 3 to five years.

Upon hearing that Robert Mueller died, Trump said, "Good, I'm glad he's dead".
Kueller was a double veteran and served Bush and Obama.

What's the difference between Vietnam and Iran?

King Bone Spurs had a plan for getting out of Vietnam.

President Bone Spurs is "glad" Mueller is dead.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2026/03/donald-trump-nothing-like-robert-mueller/686498/

In case you can't read the article:

Robert Mueller III was a Bronze Star Marine veteran, an FBI director, and an American citizen. When the president of the United States heard the news that Mueller died today, he put it this way: “Good, I’m glad he’s dead.”

Mueller was honored for his service in Vietnam, and served presidents of both parties as the director of the nation’s top law-enforcement agency. Donald Trump, whose diagnosis of bone spurs kept him from being sent to that same war, has repeatedly denigrated the American war dead as “losers” and “suckers,” and has expressed disgust in the presence of wounded troops (“No one wants to see that, the wounded,” Trump once complained to the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff).

Too bad the Mueller Report was scuttled by the corrupt AG Barr. It could have done some damage even to Teflon Don.

It appears that General Bonespurs has executed a reverse ferret over Hormuz. Details to follow, once the fog of war bullshit clears. (As we speak, he's busy eulogising over the boxes full of shells that he personally wrestled from Neptune, and by the way the election was stolen from him. I hear a strong echo. I do wish someone would tell him that standing behind a podium is not the best place to take a dump, but that echo suggests he's in the Little Führer's Room after all.)

As it happens, I had cause to look up the word mardy today, as in (eg) "mardy brat". Seriously applicable to the TACOnaut-in-Chief, nyet?

It is a shame that this thread has degenerated to hate posts (Helen and Donuel). That this is combined with TRMP comments makes it far too confusing for me to try and impose rationality.

A writer once remarked that there's a limit to how sane you can be, but the boundaries to illogic are limitless. People achieve a region where they glory in it.

I'm gonna remind the posters that Hamas started a real, honest-to-God war on Oct. 6, 2023, and it is still going on. The TRMP war on Iran was a follow-on, but Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi are payees of the Iran regime.

Meanwhile, a somewhat intelligent to-the-points conversation that speaks to multiple points that have come up on this thread:

"we live in some kind of Hunger Games dystopia online - no guardrails."

One of the quotes that summarizes our current predicament:

(39:40)"These guys are inveterate liars on every point. This is the most dishonest group of people we've ever assembled in a government."

I beg to differ. My posts were not hate posts. I don't do hate posts. I was merely pointing out that comments without context or references to sources are very confusing.

Robo - go back farther to illustrate what is going on with those wars and who pays who. And why.

Israel was established smack in the middle of Palestine, and Palestinians where immediately second class citizens, many moved into camps that all these years later are still camps. After the 1968 war a faction of ultra conservative Israelis decided that encroaching on Palestinian lands was the way to go and the Israeli government has largely condoned it. Abuse, theft, murder by "settlers" who are pirates and thieves. The US stupidly supported the Israeli government without insisting on the respect of borders and due process for Palestinians.

A lot of the attacks and support of subversive groups is because in the Muslim region of the world a lot of people are fed up with the Israeli government's sanctioning of all of this (as someone said above - you'd think Israel would know better than to subject their neighbors to pogroms and ghettos and mass starvation and everything they themselves experienced before and during the WWII years. The only thing missing are gas chambers.)

Until Israel is brought under control and starts acting like a good neighbor in the region, there will always be anger directed their way. And a lot of the world has figured this out. The October 6 attack was awful, but it shouldn't have been unexpected. And the way Israel has ground Gaza down to a fine dust, now they're doing it to many other countries in the Middle East - it's partly a proxy war and partly supreme lunacy because two old white men who face prison sentences when they are no longer in office are churning up the world as a distraction from their personal crimes. And the governments that should be shouting "STOP!" are letting them get away with it.

As always, read this as the Israeli government. A large number of Israeli citizens are just as angry about what is going on and are not the subject of this screed. Just as a lot of US citizens are angry at wars and what Trump is doing to our government and are not who are included when I say "the US supported" something. The government is not, alas, the same as the people.

Thanks SRS. My two questions on 22 Mar 26 - 03:27 PM were about that and expressed my absolute bewilderment and extreme sadness about what has been happening and why, and the intertwining motivations and actions of the two powerful white men at the helm of it all.

I have another question. Has tRump ever expressed remorse or sadness about the 160 or more young girls killed by a US attack on their school, based on mistaken target data? The only response I have seen from him on TV was something akin to "these things happen" - like your favourite coffee mug just smashed on the ground, but hey, these things happen.

Of course not. He'll sidestep that question every time. And he's glad Mueller has died, he says those things out loud - what a horrible human being.

SRS and Helen:

I saw Helen's two questions about 'how'* Chrisitians justify murder and 'how' Jews justify genocide. Seemed to me to be related to the old lawyers' loaded query: "When did you stop beating your wife?"

And it made no effort to bend the knee to the usual baiting question as related to Zionists instead of Jews.

As for SRS attempt to summarize Israel's reason for existence. I do not think this is a proper forum to get into that. Hence I'm not going there. SRS' version of history was so abbreviated and full of low-hanging fruit I don't think even she intends it to be by any means definitive. I respect her knowledge and background, but I do not respect her weighing in on this issue as a moderator. It smacks too much of the flea circus owner betting on the insect races while stamping on the unfavorables.

I have my own sardonic view of the various history versions. Much of it recently has gone to back-dating the story to blame the other guy. Such as: -Iran's Mullahs took over in '79 and started their persecutions then.-So Trump's minions are just fighting 'back'.

I'm not going there.
The next logical step would be to bring up Kermit Roosevelt and the CIA overthrowing Mossadegh.

I'm not going there.
If you want to go over religious / land ownership rights you can go into Turkish civil law, back to the Crusades, back to the Romans, Babylonians, King David, the poor sods who thought they had water rights in Jericho. One of my favorite parts of the Old Testament is about widows who sought inheritance rights from their husbands' tribes. After they received their rights, their husbands' other family survivors protested their lost property rights.

I'm not going there.
Yet
At least on Mudcat. As for anything else, the real master of the Universe, Windows, upgraded me to Windows 11 early this month, without my permission, and I lost Wordpad. So I'm somewhat hobbled in word documentation, as I don't want to rent Word.

* I might have kept my mouth shut if the word 'how' was omitted from your post, Helen. Sorry to be a nudge but words are important. Someday our cheap executive will find that out, but he still misses 'his' roy cohn.

I don't understand why you are taking umbrage about the use of the word "how". You might want to explain your rationale.

What I meant was, what is the rationale used by people of certain religions to think it is ok to kill people? As I understand it, Jesus Christ preached love, understanding, love thy neighbour, etc. If a Christian believes those teachings what rationale can make that person believe it is also ok to kill people? Is it hypocritical to take some of what He said to heart and ignore the rest?

I also am at a loss to understand why you sent me a polite PM at almost the same time that you decided to denounce me in the public forum.

I'm confused. But go for it! Do your darnedest! You say what you want to say and I'll express my own opinions with politeness, respect and dignity.

Robo, We will have to agree to disagree on this discussion of Israel and Palestine (as has been the case in the past) and this side trip has gone far enough astray for a thread about Donald Trump's crimes. Participating in BS threads where the conversation is moving along normally is standard. When the brickbats and cleavers come out, then participation changes.

ICE in the airports today, probably to try to prevent a TSA sick out. That's what they did the last time they had to work without pay for a long time. It was enough to end the shutdown. And Rachel Maddow talked about how ICE has third party companies buying airfare for the flights on regular airlines when they're moving families with small children to detention (the airlines often aren't aware of who the passengers are). Handlers force them onto the planes, never tell them where they're going. One woman, held for two days and not allowed to make any calls finally wrote a message on a plane barf bag, handed to a flight attendant asking her to call her husband and tell him she had been detained and where she was (and the attendant made the call.)

I do not see the millions of non violent no kings demonstraters as acts of hatred although there is reason to be very angry. It seems like you will not be among the demonstrators this Saturday. Please reconsider.

Hatred is not my thing as evidenced by my light touch with 'Springtime for Trump. If robo wants to stereotype, he should address his concern for the manifestly unqualified people serving to break our nation with sheer crackpottery.

It is good that Mudcat is not without those willing to defend villainy.
I defend free speech.
