Here's the info about Tom Lewis being in Portland:

March 31: TOM LEWIS & SHANGHAID ON THE WILLAMETTE - Songs and humor from sea and shore. 8 p.m. aboard the historic Sternwheeler Portland, adjacent to 113 SW Naito Parkway $13, Adv $11. PFS members $1 off. (503) 626-7833.

I've heard so much about him but this will be the first time seeing him. I'm looking forward to it!

Margo

If he's wearing the boots and the tight trousers you are in for a treat ....... the singing is quite impressive as well

I saw Tom at a couple of festivals here (in Oz) about 3 years ago.....well worth seeing! Especially when he tells the stories about life on the subs.
Cheers

Tom is a superb singer/songwriter. I seen him perform several times and wach time is different and unique. He is also authentic and has no pretensions.

From Portland East to Portland West, if you love good nautical songs and patter you'll love Tom Lewis. I'm tempted to drive there myself, only three or four days at 80 mph. Tom's a master story teller, a great voice, and one of our best songwriters.
