Well, I can't divulge my sources but I certainly wouldn't want to be in Gerald Ford's shoes (okay, slippers...) these days...

According to my sources, former President Ford is scheduled to die of "natural causes" three weeks before the election givin' the Repubs another 30 days of mourning where they will blow poor ol' Gerald up as the 2nd comin' of Jesus hisself...

Sorry, Gerald, but the party comes first...

Well, Gerald Ford is 90-something now so he could die any time. Hope he doesn't before the election though.

Ah but- Beaubear, I'm not prepared to go that far. There are many people who don't flinch at creating situations where death - say, murder- ensues but would not lend themselves to outright killing. My gut tells me these are people like that.

So, No. I do NOT believe that anyone is going in and smothering Gerald Ford with a pillow or darting him with poison on a street corner.

I don't believe it either Ebbie but I do believe that these folks while not themselves capuable or getting their own hands bloody they do have their hand awash with blood none the less & are very capuable of of killing a president or less. They will advocate war at a whim then they murder without batting an eye.

At present we are seeing Rove, Rummey & the rest of that damn crew at pre-election time set up a great broadway play explaining how the Democrates & Clinton are responsible for all their failures & that they started all that's wrong & how they, the Republicians, whose hands were forced by the bad guys (both terrorists & Democrates) are saving the Christian world & staying the course of rightiouness. They will scapecoat Bush after the elections, slowly, the rate depending on the how the elections turnout.
