P.S. Guess.

Leave my peter out of it... wait... the thread is about peters.

Anyway, thanks for the tweak. Best I've had in years.

Too bad Mick Jagger doesn't post here. It would be fun to read an opinion from someone who actually does think it's meaningful to run around shagging ladies younger than his youngest daughter.

Elmer - I think his youngest daughter, Georgia May, is only in her mid teens. I don't think the old goat has quite got to that level yet!

But it's true, middle aged - well, alright, 48-year-old - men do lust after young ladies.   Don't they?

;-)

Try Bill Wyman's history on that score.

Depends how far they take the lusting. I know of a couple of gentlemen of advanced years who do seem to need the attention of much younger ladies - whether they would go any further than flirting I'm not sure.

It does seem to be a predominantly male thing - there are some women who go for toyboys but most seem content with their peers, or older men.

jaquic, evidently I've lost track of Mick's offspring. I wuz thinking of Elizabeth Scarlett. And did that Brazilian babe have a boy or a girl? If a girl, my original post is totally erroneous, irredemable, and irrelevant (so what else is new?).

The BRazilian had a boy. It was difficult to avoid news of Jagger's exploits when I lived in the UK and bought a daily paper!

Sitting in bar with one of my 50+ year-old buddies, he asked me,
"Billy, have you ever been to bed with two girls in their 20s at the same time?"
"No, Fred," said I, "How much did that cost you?"

Well I was quite pleased with my new clothes - the trousers a soft olive green, the tee-shirt in 'buttermilk' and the jacket, parchment. Then I saw what was wrong . . . my hair. My HAIR is turning beige.
It's not wearing beige that's the problem, it's BEING beige.

It's being aged around the middle.

That's the problem

For ladies of a certain age:

Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches.

In general:

Don't let aging get you down. It's too hard to get back up again.

The following is worth keeping in mind (if you can remember it):

The Senility Prayer

Lord, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked,
The good fortune to run into the ones I do,
And the eyesight to tell the difference.

For a really authoritative answer to the questions posed we need to hear from two very notable middle-aged men:

Bill Clinton and William Shatner!

I guess I can't really claim to be middle-aged anymore. When the Big Bang occurred, I'm the one who said, "What the hell was that!???"
