Well...........I have not been in here forever, always thought many of the threads were, shall we say, rude.

However, it has been a delight reading this one, neat people obviously talking about a very neat experience - "Getaway" - and a stranger can feel the happiness and good will being shown.

Although I am a 'Yank', I can still wish ALL a belated Happy Thanksgiving. 'Tis the phrase "Thanks giving", not the date, that is important.

Micca called last night. He and his kitty in London miss the hustle and bustle of Maine. I think he is suffering from "the house is too quiet" syndrome.
Maybe we should start calling him to say Goodnight at 9PM our time right across the country...maybe not.

I taught him pickpocketing. Seamus has a sense of humor - it is really funny to watch. The eyes light up and you know he is up to something. Then he snatches the scarf from your shoulder or the elastic from your hair and takes off with it.

When he was a puppy he used to steal things out of my handbag. Boy did he get pissed when I started hanging it off the top of the door. :-) He definitely does have a healthy sense of humor. But then I would expect nothing less from a dog in my family.

I saw that Micca tonight. He was sitting in a flash house eating meatballs and drinking red wine. He had a kilt on. I don't know if anyone dared ask what he was wearing under it. He was having a rare old time and was up late for his age, I reckon.
