From: Donuel

The DC Madam, arrested for running the premium Washington DC escort service has given ABC her little black book of phone numbers.

The first loyal Bushie to resign for using the service was George Bush's Abstinence Czar in charge of Aids awarness.

She threatened to sell her records to pay for her defense but the goverment played tough. So she gave it away and will get a public defender.

If you go to a DC event and see the old guy with a Cosmo girl with all the moves you assume she is his escort. These guys won't go to the Kennedy Center alone so more ower to them. Then there are the guys who just want a massage at home.

Now uptight Republicans in this town are going to be more uptight than ever.
As the media massages this story I don;t expect any happy endings.

ABC is franticly trying to match phone numbers with names before numbers are canceled.
I bet the new NSA domestic spying "law" could help.

now let me see, is that Karl's # ?

Now this is downright infringement!. I thought it was agreed that prominenent Dems would be involved with sex scandals while Repubs would content themselves with simple thievery. Let's have a stop to this kind of crossover flip-flopping.

She has called upon her clients to come forward and testify on her behalf.

I have no delusions that this will be a bipartisan hoopla-bruhaha.

The prosecutors party affiliation will be scrutinized. I expect new definitions of legal sex to pop up.

Overall this story is not as enjoyable as the Chinese invention of Panda porn which has proved to double the recalcitrant mating behavior of Pandas. Simple how to videos for Pandas may be on youtube already for all I know. First they tried Viagra but it proved to last WAY too long.

Here's a bit about the AIDS czar who just resigned as Deputy Secretary of State (and Condie wouldn't let him quit six months ago because he was "too valuable:)

(my emphasis) - Tobias, 65 and married, denied having sex during these encounters. To ward off later exposure, he also told ABC News that he has lately been using another escort service with Central American girls.

Tobias donated more than $100,000 to the Republican Party and in 2003, President George W. Bush made him America's first global AIDS coordinator with the rank of ambassador.

In that role, he promoted the conservative concept of promoting abstinence and faithfulness over condom use, coining the "ABC" slogan for the Bush administration's AIDS policy.

He explained "ABC" as "Abstinence works. Be faithful works. Condoms work. They all have a role. But it is not a multiple choice, where there is only one answer."

Tobias enforced the Bush administration's policy that requires recipients of AIDS-related funds to swear that they oppose prostitution and sex trafficking.

If they'd had a bit more flip-flopping they wouldn't have used the escort service.

Errr, I'm not sure this is important but Tobias was actually Deputy Secretary for the U. S. Agency for Internation development (AID):

"In an unusual statement issued at 5 p.m., State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Tobias informed Rice "today that he must step down as Director of U.S. Foreign Assistance and U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator effective immediately."

It's true that this agency does deal with the international problem of AIDS but some of the above well-intented posters are mischaracterizing Tobias as "AIDS Czar." AID has traditionally coordinated a much wider range of programs of international development around the world. No doubt the blogs and the mainstream media are making the same mistake, if they care.

At any rate, I'm certainly not unhappy to see another Republican hippocrit go, but let's call a "spad" a "spad."

Ho hum. More government money being wasted on an investigation of what should be regarded as merely pleasureable acts between consulting adults. I am sure taxes were paid by the escort company; just add a luxury tax so that the customer pays as well.

Just looked into the yellow pages of the phone book in my city; all sorts of escort services (one adv. covers two full pages and offers "upscale girls to your door in minutes;" all colors, college girls, mistresses, etc.).
Beautiful Brazilians, China dolls, friendly 40's, irresistible 30's, Adventurous Housewives, Light weight, Full-bodied, Ravishing redheads, Fit and firm, All requests, Dominatrix, Aussie blondes (for Bob B.?), Greek, East Indian, Double Duty (2 for double the pleasure), Mrs. Robinson (hummm, she's getting sort of old).

Take your pleasure, gentlemen!

Did Clinton do similar?

The difference is not in the act. It is in the dichotomy between public pronouncements and positions, and private behavior.

Hypocrisy is the key word.

In my book that is hipocracy! It is also a measure of the confidence we should have in them to do what they say they will do.

It's the hypocrisy of the man. His ABC's - his moral posture. All the while he's beating a path (or something else) to the Bordello door. The Madame, according to ABC news, said she didn't have the names of the clients. She had only their telephone numbers.

Depends whether hypocrisy floats your boat. The problem is not that he used prostitutes (or "masseuses" if you like), but that he and his mates have been publicly damning everyone who was ever promiscuous or unfaithful whilst privately getting their end away with callgirls.

That may well be. And I don't doubt that the list will have Democrats on it also. However, Clinton was no less hypocritical with his jaunts. He did it on taxpayers' time. I still see little difference. No, hypocricy doesn't 'float my boat', and the implication it does is mildly insulting. I still see little difference. If you need an excuse to rant at Republicans, there are hundreds of valid ones. This isn't, IMO. And finding that Republicans (or Democrats) are hypocritical--gee, that's not news.

Anytime sex comes up in an employer / employee relationship it's ugly ... just not as ugly as a video of Rove or Cheney with their pants around their ankles.

I'm not against politicians having sex with whoever or whatever they lust after (eg consenting pandas of legal age), I just don't like sex getting mixed up with money & lies.

Unfortunately the American and Canadian colonies had no practical system of investigating the aliens arriving on ships from Europe; as a result a large number of puritans and others of that ilk were able to take up residence.
Protected as they are by current constitutional provisions, it is impossible to class their descendants as illegal aliens and deport them.
