I just saw a youtube video of Odetta performing "House of the Rising Sun", and as you can see, she slips in some of "The Unfortunate Rake."

Thinking about it, the two songs fit quite well in tone. Have any of you ever heard of a connection between the two?

Thanks, I've read threads on "House of the Rising Sun" here in the past, and I did a search, but I didn't spot anything. I'll look around a bit more.
