Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Little Hawk Date: 14 Jan 08 - 11:33 AM I hate those guys who are always "right". Just hate them. I would enjoy seeing a tree fall on them right after they say, "That tree is never going to fall." Idiots. |

Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: The PA Date: 14 Jan 08 - 11:27 AM Easy. Makes no difference, men are always wrong, we're always right. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Peace Date: 14 Jan 08 - 10:59 AM I ain't havin' a sex change to answer this question, Bobert. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Mrrzy Date: 14 Jan 08 - 10:52 AM Who was it said I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken? |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Bee Date: 14 Jan 08 - 10:49 AM It's my experience that the man firmly believes he's right even when he isn't, and no amount of reasoning from a woman will change his mind. It'll just put his back up and he'll say things like "Why do you always have to argue?" and "Oh, yeah, you're always right!" Weeks or months later, they will come in and say "Did you know I was wrong about ___? So-and-so told me." So-andso is always another man, and the man you argued with will never remember that you told him he was wrong - just that you're always arguing: poor him. There, that's my stereotyping contribution to this thread! |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Little Hawk Date: 14 Jan 08 - 10:41 AM Ha! Bobert, I am going to pretend to be a Mudwomanz, just so I can answer the question you pose... "If a man were to admit that he was wrong, would that make the man right????" Yes! The moment he admitted that he'd been wrong, he'd be right. And he'd be forgiven. ;-) |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Les from Hull Date: 14 Jan 08 - 10:10 AM You're all wrong! But as I am a man, you'll have to decide if I'm right or not. |

Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: kendall Date: 14 Jan 08 - 09:42 AM Some people would argue with an echo. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: jacqui.c Date: 14 Jan 08 - 08:16 AM Bobert my love - you shouldn't use generalisations in this way. Not all womenz are quite as didactic as you suggest. I sometimes allow the Cap'n to be right - it gives him so much pleasure that it's worth the sacrifice. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 14 Jan 08 - 07:53 AM Bobert's initial assumption, that all men are always wrong, is fallacious. Men are not always wrong. They're simply never right. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: polaitaly Date: 14 Jan 08 - 07:21 AM I suppose even some men can be right some of the times.... |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: Liz the Squeak Date: 14 Jan 08 - 07:20 AM In my experience, a man who is alone in the middle of a big deep forest where no-one can hear him is there because he failed to ask for or follow properly the directions. LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwomenz??? From: George Papavgeris Date: 14 Jan 08 - 06:54 AM He would be right, but it wouldn't matter. No change, then... |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: John MacKenzie Date: 14 Jan 08 - 05:52 AM If a man were alone in the middle of a big deep forest, where nobody else could hear him, and he expressed an opinion. Would he still be wrong? |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: Bee Date: 13 Jan 08 - 10:48 PM Good advice. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 13 Jan 08 - 10:00 PM Bobert, turn the computer off and go play guitar. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: GUEST,dianavan Date: 13 Jan 08 - 09:20 PM If a man said to me, "You're right, I'm wrong," I would consider it a passive aggressive comment intended to shut me up and end the conversation. Nobody would win. He would walk away; smugly thinking he was smart for ending a discussion he couldn't win and I would feel angry and resentful at being patronized. |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: Bobert Date: 13 Jan 08 - 09:18 PM Not me... |
Subject: RE: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: Janie Date: 13 Jan 08 - 09:16 PM Bobertz, we ain't implied nothin' of the sort. Men often know Jack from Jack. They just have trouble sometimes knowing Jill from Jill. |
Subject: BS: '08 Question for Mudwowenz??? From: Bobert Date: 13 Jan 08 - 08:53 PM Okay, Mudwomenz... '07 was a year in which you all repeatedly implied that we men didn't know jack from jack so here is yer brain teaser for '08: If a man were to admit that he was wrong, would that make the man right???? Have at it ladies... B~ |
