This is not a record by no means but it a damn good average, There were 10 kids in my Dad and Mother's family and 5 of us reached over 60 years of marriage and still going strong and I was the last to reach that goal which I did in 2006. There were two sisters older than I and one sister and brother who was younger. If you wonder how we did this when we took our marriage vovs and the minister asked if we would honor and obey he was talking to the males not the females

Tonight on the local news there was a lovely interview with a couple in Plymouth [UK] who have been married for 79 years. They now hold the record for the longest marriage in the UK. He is 100 and she is 99. They always make sure they kiss each other before going to sleep at night and make sure the sun doesn't go down on their anger. What is their secret? A daily cuddle and good homecooked food!
