Louis Killen will be visiting Ireland in late February and early March. He will be in The Cle Club, Liberty Hall, Dublin, on Wednesday 27th February, An Goilin Traditional Singers Club, in The Teachers Club, Parnell Square, Dublin, on Friday 29th February and in The Cork Singers Club, An Spailpin Fanach, South Main Street, Cork on Sunday March 2nd.

I havent played An Goilin,but I have heard There Are somre very good singers there too.

There's some fine songbirds in there alright but they'd appear to be migratory ones...

Well ..... Mayes left the Góilín, really - planned to convert that upstairs room into an apartment, IIRC. Dunno if the pool table was to remain as a feature.

The Góilín songbirds are basically local to Dublin, with sporadic, seasonal irruptions nationwide. Continental incidences are not unknown.
