Subject: RE: gower folk festival From: Dame Pattie Smith EPNS Date: 17 Jun 08 - 06:38 PM What a great weekend!! Congrats Joy on booking all those wonderful guests. The campsite was brilliant and the survivors' session last night was good fun too. Yes I was still down there and didn't arrive home until 1.30 this morning. On the way home I realised I had no milk so went shopping in Tescos at 1am! I got a great suntan into the bargain too. Roll on next year....... |
Subject: RE: gower folk festival From: Snuffy Date: 18 Jun 08 - 09:15 AM Patti, that was a bargain: the Tescos round here don't sell suntans, never mind giving them away with milk! |
Subject: RE: gower folk festival From: badgerbiker Date: 18 Jun 08 - 04:50 PM The whole weekend was excellent, especially enjoyed Craig, Morgan and Robson - what nice people! The Sultans of Squeeze were also very entertaining, who'd have thought Beatles and Chas and Dave numbers would end up in a folk festival! The survivors session was great fun - though remind me never again to sit next to the man who married a fish !!!!!!Those of you who were there will know what I mean. |

Subject: RE: gower folk festival From: GUEST,Joy Date: 19 Jun 08 - 03:27 PM Skyhook were absolutely wonderful and such nice people. They got quite a few mentions on the feedback form that we put out so they went down really well. |
