Subject: BS: Sewage Plant? From: artbrooks Date: 07 Jul 08 - 06:41 PM Not that I have any personal or political bias of course, but is the G.W. Bush Sewage Plant an idea whose time has come? |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Jim Dixon Date: 07 Jul 08 - 07:32 PM I seem to recall Michael Moore has a sewage pumping station somewhere named after him, and that he took it in good humor, and even went to the dedication. Or am I confusing him with someone else? I looked for, but couldn't find, any confirmation of this on the Internet, and I'm beginning to wonder if I got it confused somehow. Stephen Colbert, maybe? Does anybody remember hearing of anything like this? |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Bobert Date: 07 Jul 08 - 07:50 PM The problem I have with this is that Bush won't ever have to get his hands dirty in cleaning up his mess... The treatement plant, on the other hand, will do what it is supposed to do and clean stuff up... B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Rapparee Date: 07 Jul 08 - 09:46 PM I think it's silly. Just let him and his bunch fade into obscurity -- it's the worst fate they can imagine. Take everything from 1980 on, revoke it, and start over from where we were: high inflation, high unemployment, high gas prices, high food prices.... |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Liz the Squeak Date: 08 Jul 08 - 04:07 AM It is childish and stupid, but also very apt... I for one will be tittering all the day at the thought of it! LTS |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Micca Date: 08 Jul 08 - 07:48 AM Well, It sure beats the sign I saw on the Beltway round Washington DC saying, "The George Bush Centre for Intelligence" |

Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Charley Noble Date: 08 Jul 08 - 09:27 AM "...an idea whose time has come?" I really hate such sentence fragments. The full sentence should be: "...an idea whose time has come to pass?" I fully expect this petition referendum to move on with the grace and speed of the digestive system itself, with similar results. Imagine the opening ceremony, the dignitaries and engineers all flushed with success, the peal of trumpets and the blare of kazoos. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
