Sounds wonderful - wish I could be there - would be great if the event could tour - I'll also be missing the CBS et al RVW show at Ilkley

Hope it goes well - look forward to a review of the event and maybe some recordings?

we're seeing what we can do about recordings now, Joe. As lovely as it would be to tour the event, the thing that's allowed us to put together such a first-class lineup for the whole day (which includes EFDSS's new President Elect, Shirley Collins, and Vice President Elect, Eliza Carthy) is that all of the performers and speakers are generously donating their time for free, as the event is a benefit for the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library. Touring could prove challenging not only financially, but in terms of the diary commitments of so many artists.

it should be a good day. Hope to see many Mudcatters there!

Wish I could go, but I'm going to be slaving over a hot box office desk selling tickets for other events that day ... bad planning on my part, as I hadn't realised there was a clash when I said Yes to the shift. I'm sure it'll be a great day ... gnashing of teeth and tearing of hair going on in the background as I say that !!!
