Subject: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Little Hawk Date: 20 Jan 09 - 02:44 PM Actually, he left it many years ago. He left it when he left Africa, and that was in the 1920s. I just thought I'd mention it now, Bush having left the White House and all, now is probably a good time to mention it. Chongo has never gone back, and I trust that Bush never will either. |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Rapparee Date: 20 Jan 09 - 03:01 PM Let's see...if he left in the 1920s, that would be at least 80 years ago. Assuming he was old enough to leave home (let's say just for argument he was five years old), then Chongo is about 85 years old. So he's about 35 years past his life expectancy, or equivalent to a human who would be about 106 or so. Now, I'm not a specieist or an ageist, but it strikes me that's a bit old to be President.... |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Megan L Date: 20 Jan 09 - 03:06 PM Now rapaire you have no doubt heard of a werewolf well it has become quite obvious that Chongo is a werechimp. Now everyone knows Weres live excedingly(almost imortal) long lifes the only question is who is his human persona he does bear a striking resemblance to one Mr Devito. Of course there may be other candidates. |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Little Hawk Date: 20 Jan 09 - 05:30 PM Some would say he is both, Rapaire... ;-) Chongo prefers to think of himself as "high spirited", however, and he has often expressed his regret to me about what he sees as the declining moral standards of our contemporary society. It's all a matter of perspective. |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Charley Noble Date: 20 Jan 09 - 08:27 PM I'm impressed that Chongo has maintained his "high spirits" for 80 years or more. What does he imbibe? Just curious... Charley Noble |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 20 Jan 09 - 09:37 PM Chongo's high spirits come from eating cigar butts. But that's not to cast aspersions upon Chongo. All simians love to eat cigar butts. Bananas may be #1, but butts are #2 with a bullet. At least Chongo draws the line at cigars and doesn't stoop to eating filtered cigarette butts as do some of his less cultured relatives. |

Subject: RE: BS: Chongo has left the Tree House From: Little Hawk Date: 21 Jan 09 - 12:14 AM The answer is: copious amounts of whiskey (spirits). A fair bit of other stuff too, but whiskey seems to be his favorite libation. |
