I've just heard from Nine that Bill t'Bodger has finally got his long awaited stents today. Everything seems to have gone well after a LONG wait due to an assortment of reasons.

With any luck he will be home tomorrow/Saturday and back to full power in time to push vehicles off the campsite for Whitby week (let's hope it's dry and we don't have to!!).

Stents are tiny little filligree tubes, inserted in the arteries and then expanded in diameter by a ballon to keep a clogged blood vessal open.


This is known as throwing a "party in the arteries"- they blow up ballons, throw dye about, and generally have a fun time- inside and around the heart.
