Subject: BS: Coconut MIlk Substitute? From: Goose Gander Date: 29 Apr 09 - 01:24 PM Can anyone suggest a subsitute for coconut milk? I'm making Jamaican peas & rice and my wife is allergic to coconut milk. |

Subject: RE: BS: Coconut MIlk Substitute? From: CarolC Date: 29 Apr 09 - 01:33 PM Maybe almond milk or hazlenut milk? Although nothing tastes like coconut milk. I used to be allergic to coconut until just a few weeks ago. I had some acupuncture allergy elimination treatments, and I'm not so much allergic to coconut milk any more. I can't eat the things I used to be allergic to every day, or I become allergic again, but I can eat them often now without getting sick. |
