Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: Richard Bridge Date: 12 May 09 - 10:33 AM Ah! Revalation! That's what she's doing to those unfortuante drums!! Bashing them to death before dragging them to a safe spot for consumption. |
Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: GUEST,Girl Friday Date: 12 May 09 - 09:05 AM Pierre - I resemble that remark about leopards eating howler monkey. You are joking about it(and other bush meat) being on sale at Sainsburys I hope). I am an adoptive parent at Monkey World, and although those howlers are noisy creatures, I don't want to eat them thanks. Any trees anywhere are safe too, as we are definitely ground based leopards. Any kills will just be dragged to a safe spot and consumed privately. |

Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: dilligafxx Date: 11 May 09 - 07:07 AM Agreed in memory of three folk singers, who are if there is a folk heaven, are up there arguing keys, Tempo and who is singing the right words, round a real fire with lashings of real ale, and who will live in the memories of those who knew and loved them for a long, long time xx |
Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: VirginiaTam Date: 11 May 09 - 05:37 AM Will probably be there then. I will start working on jolly songs. Hugs to all. |
Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: Richard Bridge Date: 11 May 09 - 05:19 AM Agreed everyone is welcome. But to perpetuate the miserable thing, it is actually a memory of three notable folkers, so not JUST an excuse for more folking (and drinking). |
Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: dilligafxx Date: 11 May 09 - 04:45 AM Any one is welcome whether you knew them or not it's just an excuse for folking (as if we needed one) would love to see you Tam, we need some one who can sing something cheerful as Mr Bridge's idea of a cheerful song is when only 1 person dies in it !! Hell me been too long with Kevin getting worried about apotstrofies ! how should I know where they go can't even spell it xx |
Subject: RE: ReWake: Slats, Jacqui and Dave Bryant From: Pierre Le Chapeau Date: 10 May 09 - 06:29 PM Ive found the Lyrics. Come into my parlour said the Spider to the Fly. Come into my Barber shop said Todd..... unto Toby. For a roughness I detect about the throut I fear? Me thinks it would be better.............When....Cut from ear to ear. Sweeny Todd is my Name cutting throats is my.............Game. Upon the secret pedle my foot I do depress. Flung back into the dark abyss.....unto eternal rest. For my mistress Lovett meat for her pies does need. A busy shop aboiling pot.............And customers to feed. Sweeny Todd is my name cutting throats is my..............game. |
