I attended a 100th birthday party today for my friend Barbara (the actual birthday was yesterday, December 10, and Christina and I sang a birthday song to her voicemail. She's been talking about this birthday for years, and I'm so glad it happened. We used to sing together once a month, but that has fallen by the wayside. Nonetheless, we call each other every year year and make up birthday songs for each other. We laugh and have a good time, and I'm not sure anybody else gets it - but I love Barbara.

Happy birthday, Barbara Butterfly!!

I want to wish all Mudcatters a very Happy Christmas, but in Particular Steve Shaw and Kerberoxu. It was only today that I saw their kind wishes of some years ago !!!, I'll include Banjoman too in the wishes and hope that the arthritis is being managed. I have it also and it makes playing guitar or banjo a bit painful (Mind you people have been telling me that about my playing for many, many years in any case :-)

I'm Happy Birthday to my December wife, Christina. I wanted to take her out to lunch, but we spent two days waiting for the power company repairman to come.
