Subject: BS: The bloody ads are back!! From: John MacKenzie Date: 30 Apr 10 - 05:26 AM I installed ABP from Firefox, and it got rid of these bloody Google ads. Now I find they are back again. Does anybody know why, and how I can get rid of them again, PLEASE. |

Subject: RE: BS: The bloody ads are back!! From: Jeri Date: 30 Apr 10 - 09:30 AM I don't know, John. It's working here. Maybe you enabled ads by accident? Maybe it's the list you're subscribed to or, if you entered the addresses yourself, something changed. |

Subject: RE: BS: The bloody ads are back!! From: John MacKenzie Date: 30 Apr 10 - 06:31 PM Yup, but we don't need to see them, for them to help pay the bills. |

Subject: RE: BS: The bloody ads are back!! From: Jeri Date: 30 Apr 10 - 06:48 PM I was OK with the ads until they proliferated to the point where they significantly slowed my system down. Like some commercials on TV--if they get obnoxious enough to trigger me to hit 'mute' or change the channel, I don't even get a few. |
