I believe it was recorded specifically by the people who made the ad.

We (i.e. a bunch of us folkies) recorded that song for a sound library some years ago, with dear Johnny Collins singing the lead. Obviously, this recording isn't that one, but if you ever hear Bullgine on telly as part of the background music or a commercial, and it sounds like Johnny, it very likely IS Johnny!

Just arrived in Norway and found a great appreciation for sea chanteys and got my first free oel/beer for my "guest" appearance (highly recommend the Irishman Pub in Stavanger).

A Swedish TV ad for a gambling site features "Let the Bulgine Run" in the background. Not sure who the artists are but they sound non-English/American ... any ideas?

Hope the link works.

Cheers,
Ha da bra

Brian
