Well, many of you know that we are moving to NC but until just now we haven't been 100% sure that we would be able to get the house we want... Yeah, I've moved two box truck loads of stuff to it assuming/hoping/praying that the last little detail would work out and that is the dreaded "appraisal"...

Ya' see, with all the forecloses and short sales out there the appraisals are down but...

...we just learned that ours came in where it needed to be for us to get the loan!!!

So, it's a done deal now!!!

Well, it's gonna be a doozy... But I have spent all winter boxing, organizing, thinking, planning so all we need now is for Murphy to check in...

So far, so good, however...

My truck driver skills have returned and the 7 1/2 trip seems like going to the corner Mini-Mart fir a 6-pack... (Oh, how I wish)...

It's Wingate, artbrooks... 25 miles southeast of Charlotte and only 5 miles from South Carolina...

As fir NC being part of the Union??? They were in the '08 elections... We'll see...

No, Magz, the double decker bus club house was left the last time back in Wes Ginny... I'd hate to think what is like inside it these days 'cause the slob who bough that house just let everything go to pot and the gardens are so overgrown now that it looks like they were never there and the bus is covered with ivy... Very depressing but life goes on...

Hmmmmmmm??? Well, 95% of the stuff that needs to be boxed up is boxed up... We're still not sure on the final move date... There are a number of things, including some painting, thorough cleaning and carpets shampooing that needs to be done prior to the move... Plus, "The Boys" who are buying our farm have no interest in our woods gardens and are going to let it grow back so we're going to have one final party for our Azalea Society folks when the azaleas are in bloom for them to dig whatever they want....

Sounds like the 1st of 2nd week of May before we take all the furniture down and set up shop in NC...

Meanwhile, I have a line on a tow company to move my 1953 Spartanette trailer/studio and Kubota tractor as one of the last things to go, too...

Guess I'm getting there... At least I got my Toyota truck already down there so I have transportation, other than my gas-hog box truck, during the times I am down there with it... Best I can tell is that it's going to take 6 trips with the box truck so I have 4 more to go...

That's all the news...
