Subject: BS: Budget Override From: Arthur_itus Date: 04 Jun 11 - 04:36 AM Whilst I am familiar with accounting and budgetting in the UK, I am not familiar with the term "Budget Override" which I assume is an American term. Can anybody in simple terms explain what it is? Many thanks. |

Subject: RE: BS: Budget Override From: Arthur_itus Date: 04 Jun 11 - 07:24 AM Well here is a quote The Budget Override option gives the ability to set different budget amount for different months in the future. The amount set in the Set Budget screen is the default amount for the current and future months. In case if you need to increase/decrease the budget just for a specific month in the future, you can do this in the Budget Override screen. That sounds to me like making a revised forecast. |

So, it would be a term well within the realm of politispeech... ie, it means what it means when politicians say what it means... day by day. |

Subject: RE: BS: Budget Override From: Richard Bridge Date: 05 Jun 11 - 02:40 PM I can think of other meanings in the context of some film related agreements. |
