Finally, all the Goodies have their OBEs. I supposed that scuppers any hope of further series as the OBE was the holy grail that underpinned the programme.

I had a mate once who made 'alternative' medals from putty. I was proud of mine.

I've got five medals, not counting the religious ones. THOSE can be had at the local religious medal store for a couple of bucks. The other five I actually, believe it or not, really-truly earned.

Rap, it is the 'Order of The British Empire,' unless they have renamed it. An acknowledgement given to achievers. There is a series of awards/decorations, entitling the receiver to add the letters after his/her name, like 'Frederick Rapperee O.B.E.'
I suspect that the OBE is something like second-lowest awarded by the queen, but I haven't checked.

Nor received one.

I really want that there garter, but I want to take it offa Kate, not Liz. I think that's how it works anyway. Men get to take it offa a woman and women get to take it offa Prince Albert (when he gets outa the can) or something like that. Then you get to hang it from yer rear view mirror, I think. I'm not really up on these things, being a USian and all.
