Well, well, well...

Slowly but surely we have been back-flushing, vacuuming and adding this and that and ev3en though I have been swimming in it before it was ready it is now perfectly clean and ready for Mud-visitors...

BTW, bathing suits are optional for all Mudwomenz... I have yet to use one myself but I do own one... I think???

No security fence... It is directly behind the house... We can walk out our bedroom door, take 10 steps and be in the pool...

Actually, I have lots of other projects in mind... So many I really don't wnat to get into them right now fir fear of overload...

Life's a cinch, inch by inch... Life is hard, yard by yard... Gotta keep telling myself that over and over...

Water Parks coast to coast are hoping that Bobert's pool does not cut into their profits.
For free there are people who will pee on you directly, which makes the unique quality of water parks a waste of money.

Bobert is it anti patriotic to publish the new exteremly high incidents of radiation in the water of water parks nation wide this season ?

Stilly River mentioned a pool guard, well I'm not OTT about kids or health and safety stuff but Bobert if you are going to have little ones visiting, you could consider investing in wrist band alarms to be worn by your little guests. Sad fact is however near or far away you may be, kiddies drown all the time - it only takes two minutes, enough time to just make a quick phone call or just butter some toast or just brew a quick cuppa tea..

I don't even have bluddly kids, but I saw this on Supernanny (it was just on, you know!) and it impressed me:

Sad but true. A family here lost a toddler, and the family was RIGHT THERE. They saw him go in, the 11-year-old went in after him, but his lungs filled so fast, he died.

Lungs don't fill with water in accidental drowning. Water blocks the breathing and the person dies of lack of oxygen. Ask any coroner.

Adults should ALWAYS control toddlers around swimming pools. It's up the the adults, not the kids. I can't comment further without knowing more about the incident.

But...there are some Catters who probably shouldn't be trusted alone in a bathtub. 8-)

As fir the youngins... The youngest is 4... Or is she 5??? I'm puttin' up a rope that keeps 'um at the shallow end... No kids will be in the poll unless an adult (who can swim) is nearby... Like right there...

BTW, I had almost forgotten that I was a lifeguard at a country club when I was 14 or 15...

I know CPR... We ain't gonna let no youngin'z drown... Or sunburn... Or pee in the mpool... The P-Vine is going to have one of her little talks with each and every one of 'um about all this stuff...

When the kids were little I strung up invisible (black) deer fence around the pool. It was economical for 100 feet and easy to install.

I'd love a virtual swim in your pool Bobert. We're in midwinter here so I lovely warm swim in the sunshine sounds wonderful. But my swimming costume looks a bit odd these days - a bit lopsided. I guess if it's virtual, no-one will notice.
