Kendall, and Jacqui, were both well received at the recent benefit concert in Brunswick, Maine.

I've probably heard most of Kendall's stories but I do love to hear them again, and they do change a little over time. The sad story of Elyfelet Toothacher always brings tears to my eyes, even as I'm rolling on the floor laughing out loud.

That story always reminds me of the strange tale of Cal Powers from my home village of Robinhood who disappeared one foggy night, while checking his weir for fresh catch but that would be thread drift; the rumors that his wife Agnes had actually beaned him on the head with a frying pan and buried him in the compost heap were complete rubbish.

We took part in a benefit concert last night for the UU church in Brunswick ME that suffered severe fire damage a few weeks ago.

Even without vocal chords my amazing husband had the audience in the palm of his hand and got some of the loudest applause of the evening. Quite a number of people came up to him after the show to say how much they enjoyed his performance.

This procedure would be wonderful if it gives him more voice, even just on a temporary basis, but, IMHO, that would be the icing on the cake - he can still cut it just as he is.

Just returned from Boston. Doctor Zeitels could find no sign of cancer, and he announced that he just got a huge grant to further his scheme to restore voices.
