I mean...aside from his wife and kids. And Joe Stalin (for awhile). But was there anyone else whom he liked? Anyone at all? I have heard that he didn't like chimps, for instance, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. He reputedly didn't like Bob Dylan! Think what that means.

So.......

Did he like the postman?

The bus driver?

The pub owner?

His mother-in-law?

His MP?

Woody Allen?

Will Rogers?

Etc?

When he and Peggy did a concert I arranged, we argued (or to the point, Peggy argued whilst he looked on) over cash versus cheque.

I can confidently state he might have not liked me. (We argued when I interviewed him for a radio show, for that matter. Grumpy old goat.)

Still worshipped him artistically though, and when you think about it, his postman etc didn't have that hero worship to worry about. So, we are no nearer to knowing if he liked anyone?

(On a serious level, listen to "The Joy of Living" and you might just get an answer...)
