"Downeast Lies In Maine" Kendall, do you have any ideas concerning the cover art? We discussed Sandy's promotional photos. Caroline found the proof sheets with one of your other recordings. I plan to take my digital camera with me on my next trip to Folk Legacy and I'll make some digital copies of the proofs. I was toying with the idea of taking a digital image of one of Sandy's photos and editing it in Photoshop or another program to make it look like an oil painting. What do you think? Do have a great day, Duane. |

Subject: BS: Calling all Mudcatters From: kendall Date: 27 Jan 12 - 08:46 AM My friend, Duane Degutis has made a really Herculean effort to transfer my old book, Stories told in the kitchen, to two cds. I have a request, considering that I have never liked the title, I would appreciate some ideas from you for a new title. It's a collection of Maine humor and my own observations which was printed over 30 years ago. Now, the thing is,many people have bought the original book so I want them to know that the CD is not a new work. It needs a catchy title, and maybe a sub title.I'd like the word MAINE in it simply because anything with MAINE on it sells like ladders in a burning building. GO! |
