They're absolutely terrifying! Why have they only got one eye? Invasion of the Cyclops? Honestly, wouldn't you think they could have done better? (Also with the London Olympics logo, like an explosion in a pickle factory.) They could give ME nightmares, never mind the children. Ghastly!

They one on the right has something on its "chest" that looks like someone kicking or hitting someone else in the crotch while doing a head-butt under the chin.

Both are better looking than Prince Chucky, though.

Reminds me of a promotional thing I once saw on TV. A person was hyping the benefits of free-range chicken eggs versus what you normally buy in the store (Not that I don't agree - but I try to maintain a sense of proportion).

She said the shells of the store-bought were thinner and the egg yolks were yellow, not orange. "Ghastly!" she moaned.

Come on.

It's true Ebbie. You got me! I actually believe that London's Olympic mascots were designed with the expressed purpose of traumatizing children. Likewise this post has been written with the most solemn sincerity.

I just realized that "Children" was misspelled, just before MtheGM pointed that out. I remember having to edit the title to fit it in the allowed space. Perhaps that was the cause. Or maybe out of sympathy with the mascots I was only using one eye.

According to Goofle "counselors" is spelled correctly. Unless you are making some sort of local representative humour.

Strangely, Google tells me that humor is correctly spelled.

As a USatian I would say that 'counselor' is the correct spelling. Never have seen it spelt otherwise. (We normally don't write 'spelt' either. Unless farmers are talking.)
