It's a really sad state of affairs. I have stayed with Jude many times and have fond memories of the place. I'm devasted for her.

Just watched Look North (BBC lunchtime news) to see Judy being interviewed about the collapse of Alflaeda Terrace at Whitby. Her house which stands high above whitby harbour is part of a terrace in imminent danger of collapse - to such an extent that all the houses are likely to be demolished tomorrow

Judy stated that she had only managed to get a limited amount of possessions out of the house.- so I hope that she has at least managed to save her guitar.
