Subject: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Janie Date: 12 Apr 13 - 09:22 PM I have it on good authority that LEJ is out of the country for a couple of weeks. A couple of house numbers got transposed so I am a little unclear at this point whether he lives here or here. . Anyways, remembering what a fine reunion we had in San Diego while Amos was in Cancun, and thinking it is time for another! The Colorado Rockies in the spring sound fun to me. What say you? |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: katlaughing Date: 12 Apr 13 - 10:49 PM you do know that's all under a ton of snow in the spring at 10,000 feet plus? it'd be a blast once once past it and inside. LOL! |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Ebbie Date: 13 Apr 13 - 03:24 AM Janie, he lives in the bigger house; in fact, I have it on good authority that the little house is no longer used. Ernie has a sentimental attachment to it. For the purpose, it was palatial for its time. I know where he keeps his credit cards, by the way, and being the good-hearted, open-handed soul he is, he won't mind if we max out just one of them. I'm in! |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Amos Date: 13 Apr 13 - 03:47 AM I dunno, guys. It's hard enough when Lonesome misses the GEtaway just to earn a living, but to have a party at his house and have him miss it would really be rough. Rough, rough rough! But, hell, all his friends are my friends whether they know it or not. Let's get it on/. |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 13 Apr 13 - 05:49 AM He was asking me about Greek islands easily accessible from Turkey, so maybe he's getting some Aegean sun. RtS |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: gnu Date: 13 Apr 13 - 07:31 AM Too much sun will Aegean ya. A Rocky Moutain High sounds good to me. And, we can flick the You Tube on and pretend he's at the party. I'm cookin a turkey today... whaddyas got fer deserts? |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Janie Date: 13 Apr 13 - 08:26 AM Grab one of those credit cards Ebbie and we'll make a run into town for more "provisions." Hoping for a nice big crowd. Mebbe we ought to grab two of them? Somebody start a list of what we'll need. Oh, and what about skis? May as well take advantage of all that snow. |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: frogprince Date: 13 Apr 13 - 01:42 PM How close is his place to Mountain Air Ranch ?. That could be a nice spot for a secondary gathering whilst in the area. |

Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Janie Date: 13 Apr 13 - 11:31 PM Is the turkey done yet, gnu? Some of the folks are gonna want a hot meal and hot toddy when they come in. |

Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: gnu Date: 14 Apr 13 - 06:39 AM Janie... I posted this yesterday on another forum... I have followed the "proper" directions from Health Canada as to how to thaw a frozen turkey the last three times I thawed a turkey. This time, I gave it an extra day in the fridge as their recommendation didn't work well previously. I took it out a few hours ago after starving myself since breakfast in anticipation of a HUGE scrumptious scoff only to find out that it was the farmer's favourite turkey and he had named it Snowball on accounta it was still fuckin FROZE! Cold as ice and couldn't even spread the legs... minds me of some lasses I dated. At least with Snowball I can look forward to some good eats tomorrow. Soooo... Snowball will be at the party around 16:15 AST. He's still chillin but he'll warm up to the idea. |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Janie Date: 15 Apr 13 - 09:48 PM Looks like it's me and you, gnu. I'm hungry, is the Turkey ready yet? If not, what say we take this funny looking sled down off the wall - I never heard of the sled brand Martin before - and see if we can slide down the hill behind the house on it. I cain't figger out whether them 6 strings are for steerage or to grab a'holt of when we hit that big bump down yonder. Whaddaya think? |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: katlaughing Date: 16 Apr 13 - 11:08 PM sorry, folks, all the passes are closed, so we're on the Western Slope. btw, if you use that old thing, i think you're as nuts as those nekkid skears! |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 17 Apr 13 - 05:35 AM Ski naked? Is that what snowballs means? RtS (...OK I'll go to the naughty step) |

"I am on vacation, out of the countrty and will be out of the office until March 30." Hmmmm... we might be partying at LEJ's place but, apparently, he has found a MUCH better party!!! Hope yer havin fun, LEJ. And makin coin if yer on "tour". |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: frogprince Date: 25 Apr 13 - 06:58 PM Until March 30? That's a long vacation!. |
Subject: RE: BS: Lonesome EJ out of town, Let's Party! From: Bill D Date: 25 Apr 13 - 10:44 PM Missed the beginning of this thread...but to be clear, Bill D is too damn smart to slide downhill on waxed wood slats. He does know worthwhile projects to pursue while nude. LEJ says he will make the Getaway this year, so we can clear it all up then. |
