I have it on good authority that LEJ is out of the country for a couple of weeks. A couple of house numbers got transposed so I am a little unclear at this point whether he lives

Anyways, remembering what a fine reunion we had in San Diego while Amos was in Cancun, and thinking it is time for another! The Colorado Rockies in the spring sound fun to me. What say you?

Janie, he lives in the bigger house; in fact, I have it on good authority that the little house is no longer used. Ernie has a sentimental attachment to it. For the purpose, it was palatial for its time.

I know where he keeps his credit cards, by the way, and being the good-hearted, open-handed soul he is, he won't mind if we max out just one of them.

Janie... I posted this yesterday on another forum...

I have followed the "proper" directions from Health Canada as to how to thaw a frozen turkey the last three times I thawed a turkey. This time, I gave it an extra day in the fridge as their recommendation didn't work well previously. I took it out a few hours ago after starving myself since breakfast in anticipation of a HUGE scrumptious scoff only to find out that it was the farmer's favourite turkey and he had named it Snowball on accounta it was still fuckin FROZE! Cold as ice and couldn't even spread the legs... minds me of some lasses I dated. At least with Snowball I can look forward to some good eats tomorrow.

Soooo... Snowball will be at the party around 16:15 AST. He's still chillin but he'll warm up to the idea.

If not, what say we take this funny looking sled down off the wall - I never heard of the sled brand Martin before - and see if we can slide down the hill behind the house on it. I cain't figger out whether them 6 strings are for steerage or to grab a'holt of when we hit that big bump down yonder. Whaddaya think?

Missed the beginning of this thread...but to be clear, Bill D is too damn smart to slide downhill on waxed wood slats. He does know worthwhile projects to pursue while nude.

LEJ says he will make the Getaway this year, so we can clear it all up then.
