Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: gnu Date: 15 Jun 14 - 01:57 PM froggy... hehehee. A float plane went down while I was in Churchill Falls, Labrador. I was talking to the divers who recovered the bodies and one said he was scared shitless because there were dead lake trout on the bottom at various stages of decay (being slowly eaten) that were bigger than him. True or false? I don't know. The conversation was in the bar late on a Friday night. Yes... 'the' bar. Not a big town. But great fishing. The town is built around a hydro dam and the dam watershed is vast with many sub-structure dams on various rivers. And more blackflies than you can swallow if you breath through your mouth. |

Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 16 Jun 14 - 02:02 AM Hello Dan!....I had a quad bi-pass a little less than two years ago. On the sixth day they released me, but first I had to have a 'briefing' from the cardiologist. Here's the short version...Though they had lost me, the doctor said my 'recovery was nothing short of miraculous, I (he)had never seen anything like it'...later in the meeting, he also said he had heard my music on YouTube, and said that, 'there's a lot of healing in that music'....on my subsequent 5 week visit, I brought them a stack of CD's, and gave them to him and the attending staff(I actually remembered all their names) free, to use them to help other people. it is now being used in five hospitals in four states, and several cardiac therapy clinics...so, here's the link, I think you may have heard it before. You can use it in two ways that work....listen to it and drift off with it while resting...it has a calming effect...and when you do your 1/2 hour treadmill therapy, listen to it and it will make it easier to spend the half hour..as it takes you away...and IT WORKS. Being as it's being working for a lot of people whom I don't know, why not for a FRIEND???? If you read the blurb below the video screen, it mentions the cardiac-therapy, and the hospitals. ENJOY getting better!!!! ...it might be easier than you think! 'Bittersuite: Joy', Recorded 'LIVE' It works!!...(according to 'them'..and I'm still ok...sneezing is a bitch, though....) God keep you, and sending you thoughts and prayers..(non-religious, of course) Guest from Sanity |

Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: Rapparee Date: 16 Jun 14 - 10:06 AM My brother had NINE (9) bypasses and two of the very minor ones blew out years later. But he's fine. I mean, apart from all the other stuff. And the fact that he's a sociopathic pyscho with delusions (he actually got himself elected to public office four (4) times, which proves it). But we've managed to control him by keeping him in an iron lung in a strait jacket. Of course, we have to use a funnel to feed him. And the leprosy, I probably didn't mention that, did I? Or the flesh-eating fungus infection, but we keep his face covered so he doesn't frighten people too much. Oh, yes, he's also quite flatulent. But he had NINE bypasses and if he kinda survived so will you. |
Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 16 Jun 14 - 11:24 AM Nine???...at the same time?...or did they re-do some over again?? GfS |
Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: Waddon Pete Date: 16 Jun 14 - 12:01 PM Nine? Like GfromS I find that a little hard to believe! Makes your eyes water! Olddude, you gotta get outta there! We are looking for some good news soon. But don't hurry it up. Let the recovery take its own sweet time. You'll end up stronger for it. Best as ever, Peter |
Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: Rapparee Date: 16 Jun 14 - 12:18 PM Nine (9) bypasses. The official record for St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Mind you that the doc told him that some were pretty damned small ones. But yes, nine bypasses. |
Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: fat B****rd Date: 16 Jun 14 - 01:02 PM Hey, Dan, you lovely man. Buddy Rich's only complaint when HE was hospitalized was "COUNTRY MUSIC!!". Much Mojo and good thoughts from Fife. |
Subject: RE: BS: Olddude heart attack From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 16 Jun 14 - 03:43 PM 9??!!??..Wow!..I've heard of five, at the most. I thought maybe they were 'throwing a few more in'...but then I'm not a cardiologist. (I try to stick to the subjects I KNOW about)...and even though I went through a bi-pass, I don't know all the ins and outs about all of it. Anyway, Dan, get better!..We love you!..and you have been excellent!! GfS |
