Help my head has been splitting for three days the wine, the song, the turkey, the kids, the inlaws missed work today and will miss it again tomorrow help don't say a doctor because I have no insurance

Lots of water, some vitamins, to replace all of those pissed out with the wine, and rest. But start with rehydrating yourself. It may take a while but you'll get there.

Dark room, quiet. Ibuprofen if you can keep it down. Fluids in any way shape or form (non alcoholic). Try small amounts of caffiene. Ice bag to the head. Rub the webbing between your index finger and thumb (sounds stupid, but blocks the pain receptors in your head and really works).

The best cure against head-ache which will not only cure the head-ache you have right now but also prevents future head-aches is decapitation ;-)
Otherwise: lots of non-alcohol drinks, but not too much caffeine; and try to sleep it off!

if you have family or friends into aromatherapy, ask for a little peppermint and lavendar (or if you can get to a health store either buy or use their samples). Take one drop of peppermint and one of lavendar, mix, and rub on your temples....reapply every so often...

Try a cup of coffee, if you drink it everyday at work but not at home. And an apple or two will help get your system back on track.

See the 'Oy do I have a migraine' thread posted earlier this month, that has some good cures in and I can't be arsed to write them out again. Feel for you, have a virus that means a permanent headache for a week now, some days better than others, but nothing so bad as the whiplash injury I had 6 years ago.....

As hinted by MudGuard above, a permanent cure was devised by Dr. Guillotin in 1792, but it's fallen out of favor of late.
