Joe, I'm never sure about what might seem advertising, but I know people on Mudcat have been chasing Cod Liver Oil & the Orange Juice, Hamish's book that I helped him put together.
Just learned how to get it out on Kindle. Folk go into Amazon Books and search for Cod Liver Oil to get it.
Hope this is OK.
Regards
Ewan

Yes, I've been able to include photos this time - my favourite shows Hamish kneeling on Billy Connolly and Aly Bain, and there is him showing John Martyn how to use a capo, him cooking curry for 600 at Tonder, etc. Don't think he ever owned a bar, though he often 'owned' the customer side of one.

Hi, Ewan -

I wish you'd advertise a little more. I came across your ABC My Grannie Caught a Flea a couple of years ago, so I bought it right away. It's a terrific book.

And people really ought to know about your Eskimo Republic book, too.

Please tell us more.

All the best to you.

-Joe-

That's great Joe, I wll get on the case soon.
The ABC book was a stripped out version of my Doh Ray Me When Ah Wis Wee which ws much bigge and also had lots of description and discussion and tune transcriptions, it is well out of print now, I must look at if I can get that out in Kindle.
Al, that must be the One Singer One Song book about the Glasgow folk scene, the makers and singers. Published 1990, still in print from Glasgow Libraries for £4.99, I myself still have a few hard copies in hand.
Susie, re the Ague & Phibbs [lawyers' nameplate],that's one of the photos that were in the orginal Mainstream book but not in my Galus reissue. Hamish's daughter Fiona is in effect the co-publiher with me.
