Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: olddude Date: 20 Jan 16 - 02:02 PM Not worried at all, I laughed because it's my luck to pick a retirement this month... |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Richard Bridge Date: 20 Jan 16 - 06:09 PM Shit. I thought this was about sexual bondage furniture. |

Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Rapparee Date: 20 Jan 16 - 07:49 PM I thought it was about the wooden parts on rifles (the plastic stuff they use these days is pure *&^%$!!). |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: GUEST,# Date: 20 Jan 16 - 07:53 PM Thought it was about things like chicken broth, vegetable broth, etc. |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: olddude Date: 20 Jan 16 - 08:25 PM More like turkey stock Bruce Lol |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Teribus Date: 20 Jan 16 - 08:51 PM "the wooden parts on rifles" Normally referred to as "the furniture" which includes the Stock. "the plastic stuff they use these days is pure *&^%$!!" Might not look as good and it might well be pure *&^%$!! but it makes the rifle a damn sight lighter to lug about, requires less attention and it stands up to far rougher handling than a polished finely carved lump of wood. It also has the advantage of being easier to replace like for like. |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Rapparee Date: 20 Jan 16 - 09:00 PM But it doesn't have the same authority for a vertical or horizontal butt stroke. Besides, I don't have any "fine firearms." |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Teribus Date: 20 Jan 16 - 09:28 PM LOL, if you have to use the Stock of your rifle to hit your target then you're obviously a lousy shot or something has gone dramatically wrong with your weapons training. |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: GUEST Date: 20 Jan 16 - 09:58 PM "Yes, but is a AR buttstroke using a stock made by Mattel really effective? Pretty sure the AK stock will ring your bell though." {click} |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: olddude Date: 20 Jan 16 - 10:01 PM Anyone want to buy some oil stock Lol, apparently I have a lot of the shit |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Stilly River Sage Date: 21 Jan 16 - 12:26 AM No flowers? |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: michaelr Date: 21 Jan 16 - 02:09 AM Not knowing a thing about firearms, I find the phrase "vertical or horizontal butt stroke" oddly familiar - it's what I frequently ask my wife. On a serious note, I recently saw *something on the web* about the Bank of Scotland advising investors to sell all stocks now. What was that about? |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: Keith A of Hertford Date: 21 Jan 16 - 03:17 AM I remember that the plastic furniture on the SA80 would weld itself to your face if you used issue insect repellent. They changed the repellent. |
Subject: RE: BS: Stocks From: GUEST Date: 21 Jan 16 - 03:33 AM "But it doesn't have the same authority for a vertical or horizontal butt stroke." A we back to sexual furniture here? |
