Subject: RE: The Beautiful Cosmos of Ivor Cutler(BBC) From: punkfolkrocker Date: 04 Jul 16 - 10:32 AM My introduction to Ivor Cutler, in the early 70s, in my early teens on the way home from school, was spotting an LP disc in the middle of a busy town centre road at peril from cars, buses, and lorries... I took a chance to run across and rescue it. No sleeve or inner sleeve, just a badly scratched and soiled disc Took it home, cleaned it up, and played it on our family's old valve radiogram... .. and was transfixed... My memory is a bit buggered now, but I think it was probably "Who Tore Your Trousers?" |
