I can't countenance any "diet" drinks or sugar-free stuff of any kind. This harks back to a traumatic day when I bought a bag of sugar-free sweets containing something called "stevia" (I think) from Tesco. After consuming a handful of the admittedly tasty sweets, my digestive system turned into something resembling a cement mixer that could not be switched off for the next four hours. My contribution to the greenhouse gas content of the atmosphere was significant, and my car smelled as though the contents of the sewage system of a small town had been tipped into it.

A man is being held on charges when he said at an airport "I'm gonna go drop a bomb" before he went to the restroom. According to restroom witnesses he did in fact drop a bomb of a bowel movement.

Back then I said if the plants can spread poison via plant tissue what would happen to birds and not just bugs.
France had the wisdom to ban neonics but the US manufacturers wrote the law itself and needs 20 more years to taper off.
