Subject: RE: BS: Save time, energy and worry with AI From: Mr Red Date: 22 Dec 19 - 06:43 AM Nah - just trained on a dataset that is only as good as the dataset. Probably a self-selective sample. With self-selective half-truths. |

Subject: RE: BS: Save time, energy and worry with AI From: Donuel Date: 22 Dec 19 - 07:35 AM Good 0ne Red. I happened to be googling to find out if there are frauds out there charging people for 'Guessing' when and how folks will die. As neuroses go its not a bad one but someone should carry on the work of the Amazing Randy who was a profesional skeptic. It turned out it was Google itself involved in such hooey. I also found apps that will remind 'on line' people that they are going to die. Murray chrismas |

Subject: RE: BS: Save time, energy and worry with AI From: Jeri Date: 22 Dec 19 - 08:43 AM Speelchock in FireFox is "Tools" "Options", then go down the page until you get to "Language" and check the "check spelling" box. I don't know about other browsers. |

Subject: RE: BS: Save time, energy and worry with AI From: robomatic Date: 22 Dec 19 - 06:46 PM I once had an engineering paper printout where I referred to "cathodic protection" - a real thing. The word processor changed it with no influence from me to "catholic protection". I was saved from the ire of my boss by assuring him not to take it personally. It was not capitalized. |

Subject: RE: BS: Save time, energy and worry with AI From: Mr Red Date: 27 Dec 19 - 03:32 AM Funny that, My settings for Word underlines in red, but in (Office) Outlook it changes automatically. Must check the settings......... Talking of frauds: James (the Amazing) Randi (Randall James Hamilton Zwinge) not only hides behind pseudonyms, but his partner cannot leave the US and get back in. He posed (with a passport) as José Alvarez until the real José Alvarez needed a passport to get to a relative's funeral, in Venezuela. Basically Randi didn't spot the biggest fraud on himself! They toured the world exposing hoaxes at one time. |
