Hey! The title of this article just caught my eye. The article itself wasn't too interesting, but the title was cool. Here it is: Cotton Grows on Sheep, Children Say
If you want the article, just ask.

Why not! Money grows on trees, doesn't it? and there are things in my fridge that have been known to grow beards.

Dear Barky,

If you'd like, you can send the article to me via a personal message (ask your dad how to do that), or, you can send it to me via email at:

doireanne@yahoo.com

And anyone else who has an idea for a Song Challenge! can do the same thing -- the more the merrier!

Dear Metchoson -- I've had things in my refrigerator grow legs and walk, as my mother used to say!

When I was single and in my twenties, I often could not distinguish between very old lettuce and very new bacon OR very old bacon and very new lettuce in my refrigerator. When I moved, I taped the whole thing shut with a roll of duct tape and wheeled it out on the street.

Here's another article:
Use Of Organic Peanut Butter Adds Two Minutes To Local Man's Life
BERKELEY, CA--Vincent Dunst, manager of a Berkeley-area food cooperative, has added two minutes to his life by consuming organic peanut butter instead of major brands, health-food experts reported Monday. "Store-bought brands like Jif and Skippy are loaded with artificial emulsifiers and preservatives. Some of them even contain brown dyes to make them look more 'peanut buttery,'" Dunst said. "This all-natural Sunset Farms peanut butter contains absolutely nothing but fresh peanuts and a little bit of sea salt-- and, as an added bonus, the jar is glass instead of plastic." Dunst has also added 22 seconds to his life by starting off each day with a frosty, fiber-rich "Bulgur Smoothie."

Yummy.....

The food is bulgur, not bulgar.
Bulgar is a word referring to that nationality in eastern Europe for whom Bulgaria is named.

Ever hear Weird Al Yankovic's "Addicted to Spuds"? Larry's Country Syle Ham wa so funny because (a) it was your typical brand-x Marine Corps Commissary fare (b)it was bright yellow, and resembled a block of chartreuse ground beef (c)it was as frozen as the ground in Antartica, and (d) it's expiration date was 3 years before the time we first saw it, and it was there every week from January 1993 to July 1995. Wonder who Larry was?

Oh I dunno amos....Its possible, considering the position we (me) just left him in, that he can see his condition. Try to relax about 'conditions' Meebo.......It doesn't help them and if you gotta' know that nobody around here is ever serious about that stuff!!! Gawd knows I got a few conditions myself...Whaddaya gonna do?
