ttcm, a moment ago i finally saw the funny side of this and sat here and laughed and laughed. you have made us so mad! mind you, since i DO have a brother like you, i don't and won't always see it as funny. he is now 66 years old with emphysema and lungs that periodically collapse- i would bet that you too are or were a smoker- and he is a most unhappy man. believe me, getting a negative rise out of people isn't worth it. the best thing he has ever done is to not get married. no one deserves the kind of punishment he would've given her.

Just an a addendum to the Gollum bit: I don't think TTCM had told very many riddles. In fact.. has he told any? That, I think is the only difference between them. The mistake, Sorcha, is to try to read any serious intent into it. It's not actually anybody "trying to restore the lost glories of the Mudcat" or "acting as the true conscience" and so forth. It's just one or two bored people playing games and getting a kick out of getting noticed and messing up the playpen. Keeps em off then streets.
