It went (well, I suppose it still goes)
"Maman les p'tits Chinois
Qui chient des noix
Est-ce qu'ils en mangent
Mais oui mon gros bêta
S'ils n'en mangeaient pas
Ils n'en chieraient pas"

Literal translation:
"Mommy the little Chinese / who shit nuts / do they eat any? / Of course / my big silly one / if they didn't eat any / they wouldn't shit any."

I suppose it explains a lot- all Nelson had to do at Trafalgar was shoot at their legs. What about this "naughty" verse then?

Most French and many French Canadian popular songs may be found at paroles.net, unless copyright holders have protested. An important resource.

From paroles.net:

Vas quand tu seras grand

Subject: Mama Les P'tits Bateaux - Lyric Request
From: RS

Looking for the rest of the lyrics to this French folk song that I learned in kindergarten or nursery school.

[Translation: Mama the little boats that go on the water do they have legs? But yes my little cabbage (affectionate term for a child, as in English people may say "my little pumpkin"), if they didn't have them, they couldn't walk (or go).]

If you don't have the song itself, any ideas where I could look? (French folk websites, Quebec sites, etc.?)

Thanks muchly -
