I´m looking for a De Dannan Cd.. I don´t know the name of it but On the frontcover of my Vinyl (I lost it 10 years ago..) It was an old house i think..

Some songs on it were:

Rambling Irishman Eighteen years old A reelset with the reel musical priest

Those are the only ones i remember by name. The singer on that album was Dolores keane..

I have searched everywhere for that album, but noone seems to have it..Maybe it is yet to be relesed on Cd..

Please help me folks!

Early De Dannan records were scattered over a number of major labels; Decca, Polyodor etc in UK. I'll check my records when I'm next near them and see if I can find your one among them. My gut instinct says the Polyodor one called "De Dannan" but I'll need to check.

I've never heard of them but there are 3 CDs currently on Amazon (UK version) see quick link from "Help support the Mudcat" at the top of the screen.

It might have been the "Ballroon" album. Try www.allmusic.com and type in De Dannan - they should have photos of all the album covers. Good luck.

Oops - I was wrong - it was their first release { on Decca in 1976 } just called "De Dannan".

Yes i see that the album is the first DeDannan relesed by Decca.. I recognise those songs now!

One of the best albums i have ever heard!

I have been on a vacation for some weeks, so i must apologise for not saying thanks to you earlier.

I think this is one of the best records ever made!
