"Sin Semilla" literally "without seeds" in Spanish. Long live Peter; I've followed him since he was a bluegrass boy for Bill Monroe and in 60's band Earth Opera (with David Grisman).

I never seem to see the good stuff to comment for friggin' YEARS after the original is written and this of course is no exception but with marijuana being on the horizon of being FINALLY legalized <more than likely days before the appearance of the antichrist> <just a bit of sarcasm--pardon me> I still think it appropriate to respond to a question mark by a term in the song lyrics which apparently was posted here by the very first guy many moons ago. Probably now if anyone ever reads this they already know what sweet sensimilla is but from an old hippy and Mary Jane smoker from waaaaay back it's: the flowers growing on the beautiful young plant. I should say the long abused and misunderstood an underrated "innocent herb & fruit of the field" as Peter Rowan so aptly put it.

Diane: Don't use "less than" or "greater than" symbols as brackets. If you do, our software will interpret anything inside them as an HTML command and it won't be visible. If you must use them, substitute "<" for "<" and ">" for ">"

Ah, Peter Rowan...once described to me by Butch Robins (who was banjo player for Monroe at the time, an jes a tad spacy his own self!) as the "original Space Cowboy".

I have a recording of this somewhere, Seth- I'll go hunting and if someone else hasn't posted lyrics by then, I'll transcribe it for you. Ever heard Midnight Moonlight by Rowan? It's another of his great spacy songs I like a lot.

When I did a radio show at KAOS FM in Olympia, Washington in the eighties and nineties, this was my most requested song-so far ahead of whatever number two was that I don't remember it. I sure would like to get the lyrics if anyone knows them- Thanks Seth from China
